Could we get the trail condition part of this board setup so when someone posts a topic, the association that it was posted under gets an email notification, kinda like the "watch this topic for replies" option you have for tracking individual topics. We would have to have a contact person for each association to email this to. But that way if someone asks a question about conditions, or whatever, in a particular area, the contact in that area will be notified that the question is there. The way it is now, if nobody from a particular region checks this site very often, the question could go unanswered for a long time.

Thanks,
Brad

Thanks for this suggestion, Brad.

This is already available for users to subscribe to discussions, as you know, and all users can do this for the discussions they want to keep an eye on.

For subscribing to forums, however, that would require some custom modification to the forum.  We've considered doing this, but have to take into account the calendar, link directory, and photo album add-ons which have been "meshed" with the forum application--it adds a new level of complexity.  Unfortunately, it's not as simple as flipping a switch (were it so, we'd gladly do it!).

Thanks for the suggestion though, and I will have my development team keep an eye out for a compatible solution.  We'll get something like that set up eventually!

In the mean time, please encourage fellow snowmobile enthusiasts to use these forums frequently--the more helpful and friendly posting and discussion there is, the more people will sign on.
