The Red River South Trail Association grooms 240 miles of marked snowmobile trails in the northeastern part of North Dakota. This trail travels through the towns of Fordville, Inkster, Lankin, Park River, Pisek, Forest River, Grand Forks, Emerado, Manvel, Arvilla, Gilby, Johnstown, Thompson and Reynolds. This trail system connects to the Minnesota trail system in two locations which are Oslo, MN and East Grand Forks, MN. The trail system connects to the Red River North Trail and the Mayville-Portland Trail.
