In the north central part of the state is the Peace Garden Trail which runs through the Turtle Mountains creating a beautiful scenic ride. The Peace Garden Trail Association offers over 280 miles of marked groomed trails.  This trail system connects with the Canadian trail system at Carbury Port and at the Peace Gardens. The International Peace Gardens and the Lake Metigoshe State Park are located on the trail system.  The towns included in the trail system are Rolla, St. John, Bottineau, Souris, and Dunseith.  A private trail managed by the Turtle Mountain Snowmobile Club travels through Belcourt.  The Sky Dancer Casino in Belcourt has a motel and is located directly by the trail.  For more information on the private trail system please contact the Turtle Mountain Snowmobile Club.  The Peace Garden Trail Connects to the Sno-Trails Association.
